Like the Wind Mocks Trees

An alto saxophone and marimba duo, this piece opens slowly with solos by each instrument. The tempo and meter change for the livelier body of the piece which is mostly in 6/8. The ending has the marimba presenting the theme with the alto saxophone harmonizing and complementing it.
