Mirror

A two movement piece for flute, marimba, and vibes. The first movement begins with flute and marimba and ends with the percussionist switching to vibes. The technical difficulties are many in that there are several modulations (both tonal and metric), time signature changes, tempo changes, and the full range of the flute is utilized. The second movement begins with flute and vibes and closes with the primary thematic material on the flute and marimba. This piece is a great selection for a recital for either percussionist or flautist.
