The Nuts

If you’ve ever played Texas Hold’em, you know what it feels like to go “all in”, especially when you have “the nuts”. I took the emotional energy from playing poker as inspiration for “All In”, and “The Nuts”. These two tunes are a lot of fun to play and also offer some musical challenges as well.
 
“The Nuts” begins (after the intro) with a bass melody and then kicks into its moving melodic lines on pan and marimba for the B section. The C section harkens back to the intro but with different chord changes and a montuno bass line. There is an optional open ended solo section.
 
Difficulty: Medium (great for college combos)
